The Legally Distinct Adventures of Huevo

An entry for the December 2019 Bitsyjam, with the theme of "egg".  While you may recognise a number of references to classic 1980s British microcomputer platform games, Huevo is absolutely a unique character with all his own motivations, and blue gloves, not any other colour.

Use the arrow keys to move left and right and climb up and down ladders/chains/vines etc.  You can't jump but you can walk off ledges. Walk into objects/people to interact with them.

Built in Bitsy (by, of course, Adam Le Doux) with lots of hacks. The title card is by the ever-marvellous Ebeth Norvell, who wants you to send them as much Magnus Archives fanart as possible.
